Habitat For Humanity[ PART 1]

On Saturday, the 14th of March 2009 a group of us from Trinity Methodist Church went to help in the HFH project located at Bako. We gathered at church at 8.00 a.m. and we were given a briefing by Uncle Hang. After that Pastor Patrick said a prayer for us. At 8.30 a.m. we departed using two car [church van and Uncle Hang's car].

At around 9.30 a.m. we arrived at the destination: Bako. Upon arrival, Uncle Eric [ the head of HFH] gave us all a briefing and say that kids below 18..... must sign a consent form and so we did. After that we have to use a SAMPAN across the river..................... I was scare becoz an uncle told me that there are CROCODILE: Human Eater.......... [SCARY]...................................
The sampan ride was a very good experience indeed. The sampan ride took about ten minutes. When we reach the kampung, we still have to walk for about another ten minutes..................... While walking I looked at all the houses that the villagers live in....... the houses are really run down..................
The kids job are painting the wood that's all....... but I really think the kids did the most job........ All the kids were all so exhausted............................ so we rest and open a pack of sugar....... biscuits........ and we finish the whole pack........ my goodness........ I think we are all so hungry that is why..........
